Your Weekly Byte Of MMORPG News: TERA Console Release, ESO Summerset, And A New MMORPG?!

March, Week 4 In Review: TERA Console, Tree of Savior, FlyFF, Dead Man's Country, Closers, Dungeons and Dragons Online, RaiderZ Updates, Elder Scrolls Online, ArcheAge

TERA Console Launch

En Masse Entertainment have confirmed that TERA will finally be hitting consoles on April 3rd, 2018.
TERA should have been on consoles a long while ago, as its combat and game-style are very console-oriented, so seeing it finally be ported over – and with actual enhancements to the game – is a sight for sore eyes.
Now, a founder’s pack will be made available alongside the game’s launch and will offer things like early access, store currency, unique mounts, and other goodies.

Tree of Savior Second Anniversary

Tree of Savior is currently celebrating its second anniversary this month with an event titled “The Invited Ones,” which will run for around 6 weeks.
Players of all levels will be given the opportunity to participate in the event, and there are plenty of items that you can grab during it. The event comes in the form of a DLC that you need to get off of Steam to begin.

FlyFF: Turning Point - Part 2

Webzen announced a few days ago that FlyFF’s latest expansion, Turning Point – Part 2, has been released in both North America and Europe.
The expansion brings with it an increase of the level cap from 155 all the way to 170, along with a race for server first to hit max level, a new dungeon called Mars Mine, and other new features that are planned to roll out over the next few months.

Dead Man's Country

A new game in the vein of ARK, Dark and Light, Rust or Citadel is currently under development. Not much is known yet about the game, other than the fact that it is set in the Wild West – similar to Wild West Online, and is supposed to be an MMORPG-ish.
As in, not a full-fledged MMORPG like WoW or BDO, but more multiplayer than the aforementioned examples. We will definitely keep you all updated on this as more information is released.

Closers New Character

En Masse Entertainment revealed that they had finally chosen the new character hitting Closers’ servers during the April 3rd update.
Players were given the ability to collect cookies that would count as “votes”, used to tally which character was more popular, and therefore going to end up in-game.
Tina, the adorable little loli character ended up winning over the voluptuous Harpy. Which is a shame, since I play Harpy.

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Disciples of Rage

In their latest update titled Disciples of Rage, Turbine is bringing in various additional dungeons to the Dungeons & Dragons Online MMORPG. 5 new dungeons, to be exact.
The dungeons in question will be Level 14 Heroic and Level 31 Legendary, and completion of them will require being done in a very specific order, beginning with “Night Falls on Stormreach”, and ending with “Toxic Treatment.”

RaiderZ Updates

RaiderZ’ dev team have posted a short list of things they are currently reworking before the game relaunches.
These range from updating the graphics to a game more worthy of being released in 2018, or 2019.. whenever RaiderZ re-releases, fixes to the world map, accuracy, and the “attack and defense mechanism,” tweaking numbers related to monster attack and player defense.

Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset

Coming off of the popular success of its Morrowind expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online is receiving a brand new expansion titled Summerset!
The expansion will take you all the way to Summerset Isle – the home of the High Elves and Wood Elves, and allow you to explore a world mass larger than ESO’s Morrowind expansion before it.
It comes with a new order, skill line, Jewelry Crafting profession, and a ton of PvE content and dungeons.
The expansion will be made available on May 21st for PC players, with it later becoming available for consoles on June 5th.

ArcheAge: Legends Return

Finally, ArcheAge’s Legends Return update is currently live on the PTR – and is set for an April 5th release.
The update brings with it a fresh start server for whales- I mean, for players to re-roll onto, along with changes to various features ranging from dungeons, to PvP, to player crafting and housing, and even the skill tree.
So there’s a lot to see.. just not a lot of players to see it.

Happy Easter!

And that wraps up the week in news.

Once again, here’s hoping you had a fantastic Easter. I spent mine with my beautiful wife Adrienne, my kid sister Wiggy, and our good friend Nicole playing ARK all day and getting fat on chocolate.

How did you spend yours?
