Scarlet Nexus Confirmed for Summer 2021 Release

Bandai Namco revealed last month during The Game Awards 2020 that they had plans to release their upcoming BrainPunk Anime RPG “Scarlet Nexus” during Summer 2021, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Scarlet Nexus is set in the distant future, where Humans are gifted with extra-sensory powers and tasked with safeguarding mankind from an extraordinary selection of mutant alien monsters. Utilizing your psychic abilities, players gain control over their environment, lifting, throwing, breaking pillars, boulders, cars. The environment is essentially your playground, along with everything in it.

This is an RPG that I have been waiting for ever since the very first trailer for the game was showcased earlier last year, and the reason for that is because it looks like everything I want out of an Anime RPG. Bandai Namco are incredible at what they do: Anime JRPGs, and this is no doubt going to be another breakout hit for them when it releases later this year.

With the success of Code Vein, and the upcoming Tales of Arise RPG and Blue Protocol MMORPG, Bandai Namco are seeing immense amounts of success in the genre, and there’s no doubt in my mind Scarlet Nexus is going to be yet another breakout hit for the developer.
