Project Eve Release Date? Brand New Upcoming AAA Action RPG!
It was brought to my attention earlier today that there was a brand new upcoming South Korean action RPG in development by Shift Up, the developers behind the incredibly popular Destiny Child mobile RPG.
There have been two separate trailers released for the game thus far: An official teaser for the game, including the character models, the Earth’s environments, and the Korean dub, along with a full gameplay trailer. The gameplay trailer showcased the main character engaging in a 1 on 1 with what seems to be an elite or boss monster, showing the player jumping, flipping and utilizing a barrage of different combos in rapid succession.
According to a press release, Project EVE is confirmed to be in development for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X (with no mention at all of last-generation consoles such as PS4, Xbox One, the Switch, Mobile devices or even PC,) however it is unconfirmed when the development for the game began, nor when the game is expected to release. If I were to wager a guess, I’d suspect the title is still a ways off. Probably 2022 at the earliest.
While the game definitely looks incredible, the founder Kim Hyung Tae went on to describe the upcoming game as a “console-based multi-platform action game aiming for high graphic quality and extreme action,” unfortunately, seemingly ruling out any chance of a PC release but reaffirming their intentions of producing something that truly looks – aesthetically, at least, very appealing.
