Haven is a Beautiful Upcoming Romance RPG

Haven is a game that I’m anticipating almost more than any other title this year. When I tell you I cannot contain my excitement for this game, I’m not overexaggerating.
Mrs Stix brought it to my attention a little while ago but I shrugged it off.. until now, with their brand new trailer.

If you couldn’t already tell, Haven is a cross-platform co-op RPG coming to both consoles and PC in 2020 – yeah, this year. This is essentially the Western Genshin Impact, and let me tell you.. this game looks beautiful. Unbelievably so.
There’s still a lot concerning the game that has yet to be fully revealed, but I figured I’d cover what we do know thus far.
The official description of the game reads “They escaped to a lost planet to be together. An RPG adventure about love and freedom to play solo or co-op with a special someone.” Here’s looking at you, Mrs Stix.

Haven is an Adventure RPG about everyday love and rebelling against the rules. We take on the role of the two main characters, Yu and Kay who have managed to escape to a forgotten planet.
What we escaped is unknown to me though. Slave traders? An evil overlord? I guess maybe we’ll find out. Together with your partner, you’re going to need to work concurrently to glide through the air, harvest resources, camp, fight off powerful enemies, and restore the planet.
Supposedly, much like in Divinity: Original Sin you’re going to both have options to argue with one another during dialogue. The world is completely open, providing large areas to fly around, gather, and explore. The game utilizes real-time combat with an emphasis on tactical sense and timing.
There will be a deep-rooted story that sets the tone for an intergalactic romance for the ages.

I don’t think I could be any more excited for Haven, and I cannot wait to not only buy it, but to also stream and further record it for everyone to enjoy as Mrs Stix and I no doubt will.
