Granblue Fantasy: Relink Confirmed for 2022.

I’ve been an avid fan of the Granblue Fantasy RPG series of games for a long time now. Admittedly, I’m a fan of the vast majority of RPGs – especially JRPGs, so this should come as no surprise to people.

Recently, the developers revealed a brand new (almost 25-minute!) gameplay trailer showcasing some of the towns, tutorials and large-scale battles that are going to take place within the game, and boy was I impressed. Not only was the combat – the gameplay itself incredibly fast, fluid and smooth but the animations looked better than ever before. Seeing the large explosions as a direct result of abilities was quite the sight, and seeing each of the 4 characters performing their roles in unison was impressive.

I haven’t seen any of the multiplayer functionality yet (that’s a thing in this, right? I believe it was when I last checked!) but I’m definitely excited to see exactly how functional the multiplayer aspect of the game really is, as I would love the opportunity to play this with Mrs Stix.

While we don’t have an exact release date yet, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is confirmed to be releasing in 2022 within Japan. No mention of its global release, however.
