My name’s Stix and today I wanna throw at you some juicy news regarding TERA.
En Masse Entertainment has recently revealed that they have plans to port TERA over to the Playstation 4 and XBox One this year.
There will be a closed beta for both the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, the devs going as far as setting up a beta registration page if you’re interested in participating.
TERA itself is a very successful free to play MMORPG released all the way back in 2011 (yes, you’re that old already.)
Setting itself apart with its fantastic action based combat as a competent alternative to traditional tab targeting combat and ridiculously high production values
as is visible when looking at literally anything in the game, was what helped propel TERA into one of the most popular free to play MMORPGs on the market.
6 years later, TERA is still going, although not nearly as popular as it once was – it is still one of the largest, most popular free titles on the internet at present.
For anyone on the fence about playing TERA on a console: People have been claiming for years that TERA would’ve better suited console games.
They’ve finally gotten their wish – and can finally jump on in on the console of their choosing!
Upon launch, TERA will remain free to play on both consoles, and offer microtransactions just like on the PC.
Wiggy and I have personally played TERA for a little while now, and we love the game immensely. The combat is a lot of fun, the graphics hold up well still, and the world is large and fun to explore.
If you’re looking for a free to play MMORPG on either the PS4 or Xbox One, then this may very well be for you! If we played MMORPGs on our PS4 we’d definitely be playing TERA on it.
