ELYON Releases New Archer Class

ELYON hasn’t been having a very successful last few months after launching to surprisingly low concurrent player numbers. Despite its poor reception and ever-decling population (will ELYON be shutting down soon?) Kakao went ahead and published a large update last week that included the brand new Archer class. This should be cause for celebration – new content, new players… except there weren’t really any.

While the update brought with it a plethora of new shinies, (I urge you to navigate on over to the official announcement page yourself if you’re interested in everything introduced with the update,) the playerbase saw an increase of… well to put the increase in players into perspective, a week after the update, the game is still declining further than the previous week. Meaning the update specifically.. achieved absolutely nothing.

Players, for whatever reason, just didn’t seem at all interested. Which honestly isn’t a surprise, as that’s been the general consensus of the entire MMO thus far.
