Code: Mirage Has Entered Pre-Registration!

If you know what this game is.. then you’re gonna wanna watch. If you’ve never heard of it before.. then you’re gonna wanna watch.

Anime games – Anime MMOs, Anime RPGs. They’re a passion of mine. So when I see something that looks this good, I feel this innate need to scream out my window, letting the whole neighborhood know that I have yet another outlet with which to release my inner weeb.

Yesterday I covered a different gorgeous Anime game – which I urge you to go ahead and check out by clicking the video at the end of.. well this video. But today, today we’re going to be looking at Code: Mirage.
This is a stunning new Anime RPG that everyone needs to know about. And we have 2 separate trailers to look at before we deep dive into what this game is.

After watching the trailers, you cannot tell me they didn’t look ridiculously good. And I know – these were just trailers. But in the second trailer we got full in-game gameplay. The character running, engaging with his environments. Solving puzzles.
And all I can say after watching them is: Wow. This year is shaping up to be an incredible year for Anime lovers like myself. But for those of you unaware of what kind of game this is: Code: Mirage is a fully multiplayer compatible Anime RPG.
There are a surplus of large cities, environments, and dungeons to explore. You have the ability of recruiting various different characters – leveling each and every single one up, customizing them, their playstyle.
And I think – much like Genshin Impact, you’ll have access to several different characters that will reduce depending on how many players are in your group.

They go on to state that you’ll be able to “Create various teams based on your battle needs to adapt to changes in battle, and use the right combination of skills to counter and defeat your enemies.”
Infiltrate, backstab, climb and explore the strange spaces created by Desire Demons, and fight the monsters that lurk within them. Disarm mechanisms and explore hidden puzzles of desire.”
Recruit teammates who have different abilities to have an easier time exploring and fighting. Your adventures will be a breeze if you use the right party combinations. Enhance yourself and your teammates with the materials you obtain while adventuring and explore the deepest abyss to uncover the truth of the world.”
Finally, they confirm that you “can also experience various gameplay such as guild battles, the arena, and team dungeons.”
What this means is that there will be functional guilds within the game. A PvP arena for those of us that want to measure e-peens. And dungeons you can enter with groups of other players.

All of this, AND it’s launching globally – hopefully this year? Dude, if you’re not excited, you should be.

Now I know there are going to be people in the comments saying “but this looks like trash,” or “crappy generic Honkai clone,” just like they did with Aether Gazer yesterday. But you know what? You don’t have to play it.
Nobody cares if you don’t like how the game looks. Those of us that do will excitedly anticipate playing the game. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Now again, this is launching Globally. It’s not restricted to Asia. It’s targeting a worldwide launch simultaneously. So it isn’t something we’re going to have to wait years for, thankfully. This could be one of the most fun games coming out this year. One of. This right here is another contender.
