A Tale in the Desert is Launching Tale 9 August 30th!

A Tale in the Desert Tale 9

It’s been a long while since I’ve covered this little gem, but as of Friday, August 30th, A Tale in the Desert is getting its next large update: Tale 9.
Tales take on a slightly different form to normal updates found throughout MMOs.
Where normal games would have you make progress over time, with updates providing new content for your already established character, Tales in A Tale in the Desert function quite differently.
Yes, the updates function in the same way as traditional MMOs but when Tales go live, there is an entire reset of the game and all progress made within.
The game, the economy, the playerbase all get entirely rebooted with new features, new mechanics and new challenges to have.
This is partly to keep the game fresh – providing players consistent incentive to continue playing and continuing their journey through the game whilst preventing the experience from ever growing stagnant.
This is one of the major unique aspects the game has to offer – an ever evolving, changing game with new things to discover.
So with Tale 9 about to begin, I recommend trying out the game right now while it’s free-to-play – and become part of one of the largest community of crafters ever found within an MMO. Forget Black Desert, A Tale in the Desert is where it’s at!

For everyone else: I will have a deeper look into the game available for all of you to watch next week – so make sure to check back if you’re on the fence about trying the game out.
