RISE MMORPG Release Date? Brand New Upcoming MMORPG!

So I was browsing the comment section of my latest Subverse video when I saw a comment from Maokami who mentioned there was a brand new upcoming MMORPG in development.
Sweet – there have been a ton of new MMOs announced this year – this one in specific is called RISE.

I know absolutely nothing about the game, having not even watched the trailer but you know what that means? Yup, we get to watch it together.

If you weren’t aware, RISE is a cross-platform South Korean MMORPG, much like Tower of Fantasy, Gran Saga, Project Ragnarok and so many other recently announced MMOs.
It seems the market is shifting quite rapidly, with support for cross-platform MMOs slowly becoming the norm. What we’ve seen thus far is only an in-game cinematic, but we can kind of get a feeling for the setting of the game at least.
According to the Youtube description, the goal with RISE is to develop an MMORPG that has full user emotion – a game that surpasses every other cross-platform MMORPG currently available.
Whether or not they’ll be able to achieve that is unknown, and what the game actually looks like in-game is going to remain to be seen but this, while we know very little about it, is still an MMORPG worth keeping an eye on going into the future.

RISE is slated for release on PC, console and Android/iOS devices, yes, a fully cross-platform MMORPG.

I bet you’re wondering about the RISE MMORPG release date, right? Of course you are. While the developers haven’t announced anything concrete, RISE is expected to release in late 2021-early 2022.
