April, Week 3 In Review: TERA EU Server Merges, Kritika, Closers Updates, OSRS Mobile
TERA
With that in mind, let’s kickstart this article off with information regarding TERA’s EU server merger taking place during the beginning of May.
The merges in particular are the result of disinterest in Gameforge’s EU iteration of TERA, and the incredibly low population numbers.
At the end of the day, this will not affect the North American TERA, nor will it affect the console version – both of which are doing more than fine in terms of population.
Kritika Online
The Windhome update is now live for Kritika Online, bringing with it a large amount of content in the form of a level cap increase all the way up to level 70, new easy modes, new story delving into the past of Kirenos – uncovering the secrets of the land and providing four new danger zones to traverse.
Additionally, the update brings with it a large amount of new gear to acquire and upgrade past its original limit, all the way to +19.
Revelation Online
Fans of Revelation Online – and I know there aren’t a whole lot of you, have a new feature to partake of: The Colosseum.
The colosseum offers a leaderboard-style PvP system where players group together to form a team of Earth’s mightiest heroes.. I mean, kids with anger issues.. no wait that’s not right.
Functioning similarly to every Arena system in an MMORPG, the Colosseum offers players increasingly better rewards as players work their way up the ladder.
Closers Online
In other En Mass news, Closers Online has released the new Planar Raid update introducing several new features to the game including the Planar Gate Raid quests, new events, a new level cap for Tina, and multiple new costumes to pick up.
Players that have reached the required level 73 can attempt the new Planar Gate Material and earn new gear, accessories, achievements and more.
Old School RuneScape
Old School RuneScape has sent out its first wave of invites for the new mobile version of the game.
While both versions will eventually come to mobile devices, it is the Old School version that will be launching first. With an expected release date of some time this year, players have a lot to look forward to.
And.. that’s pretty much it. There really wasn’t much worth noting this week – but we can always hope for more next time.
