Bless RU is closing its doors on May 25th. 101XP have cited “Players and the company has pinned high hopes on the game, which, unfortunately, did not materialize in full.”
Bless RU has suffered quite a few setbacks since its release. Not only did they never receive the full, complete game, but the game they did receive was very poorly optimized and filled with game breaking bugs.
101XP are sending Bless Online back to their Korean publisher for “revision”, stating that the game will remain under “revision” for an indefinite amount of time. Whether that’s months, years, or the game is never released again remains to be seen.
On the bright side – Bless Online is going into Open Beta in Japan on April 28. This is good news since the Japanese version of the game will likely be a very welcome substitute for the closed Russian version.
Unfortunately, there still has yet to be word from Aeria Games regarding Bless Online’s release in North America and Europe, other than we’ll be “getting more information soon.”
