by WigglsbyGreetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings my name is Wiggy and today I’ll be talking about Citadel Forged With Fire, the upcoming online sandbox RPG, that’s entering its early access!
So what is Citadel Forged With Fire? Well it’s not technically an MMORPG, as it calls itself a “massive Online Sandbox RPG” but
but it does have a large group of players playing, but I guess not enough to refer it as Massively Multiplayer.
In Citadel, you can fully explore the game world and its biomes, whether that’s by flying through the sky, as there’s flying in citadel, or you can just run around using your ground mount. When you’re done exploring, or you find a nice area, you can create your own house, where you and your fellow comrades can relax.
There is of course more to Citadel then just exploring the vast world, as you can study devastating magic, that you use to extract resources from the earth, that you an use to craft, potions or gear with. Or use magic that summons a giant meteor to slay that one random chicken that’s been making noise all day. The possibilities are endless!
If you get lonely in your little house in the middle of nowhere, you could always join up or create your own Alliance. Alliances are in essence a guild, that you can build up into a castle occupied with fellow guild members, where you gather to formulate plans on how to take down deadly monsters, or whether or not to wage war on another alliance!
If exploring around a huge world, creating a guild, an making a house and or castle for said guild isn’t something you find enjoyable.. and you dislike terrorizing chickens with devastating magic. Firstly, why’re you playing games, second! There more then just that to do in Citadel, as you can also tame monsters! These monsters or “companions” will gain experience while travelling with you, some of the many companions you can tame are even mounts, like dragons!
You know something that’s better then flying around burning hapless foes with dragon fire? Burning hapless chickens that kept waking you up with annoying sounds!
Citadel is like most sandbox games, you can do pretty much whatever you want, when you feel like it. So Citadel Forged with Fire will be available to be played on steam, in 2 days with is the 27th! Of course it is early access, but nevertheless you get to try it out!
So question, are you going to be trying out Citadel Forged with fire? in 2 days time? It sounds pretty good, but I’m sure people are skeptical of trying it out, considering Dark and Light’s early access.
