The Future For The MMORPG, Blade And Soul?!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings, My name is Wiggy and today I’ll be talking about Blade and Soul! (BnS)
So I feel as though I don’t need to explain what Blade and Soul is or what this MMORPG is all about, considering most avid MMORPG players have either played Blade and Soul before, or just know about it.

So what I actually want to talk about is the future plans for Blade and Soul, which are as follows, the merging of the servers for NA and EU.So by the 9th of August there will only be 2 NA servers left and 3 EU servers. Now, why are they merging these servers? Well it’s said to be due to the raids not having enough players in the existing servers, that the queues for said raids are taking forever. So to fix this problem little problem they intend on merging the servers, so that you have access to all the players when queuing. This will of course help with not only raid queue times, but it should also help with the general population when questing or ever arena queues.

Merging the servers isn’t the only thing planned however, the other things slated for Blade and soul are: The EU Regional Championship, which will be up around August 24th. The North American Regional championships will be on around September the 2rd at PAX west. Besides the championships for the NA/EU there is also a update on it’s way called Dark Origins. This update will add higher level raids and dungeons and new story content. This will also be out around August.

There’s also “hints” on a new class, but I believe the class in question will be the gunner, or maestro.

So yeah there’s a lot of new content coming in August for Blade and Soul. I will say, that I hope by merging the servers in Blade and Soul that it’ll make the game world feel more alive! As there won’t be anymore servers to merge if this doesn’t fix the population issue.
