Soul Worker Online is Back!

It’s been an unusual year so far. Gamigo have shut down 5 MMORPGs, we have several MMOs on the horizon for a release in the immediate future, and Gameforge, well.. For those of you that were shocked and baffled to see SoulWorker shut down.. you’ll be glad to learn that the official developer Lion Games re-released SoulWorker GLOBALLY on May 13th.

This means no IP blocks at all, with North American and European players alike able to jump into the game and play it. And the best part of all of this? The content updates are going to be significantly faster, as Gameforge won’t need to wait over a year to publish the changes South Korea gets.

Instead, any and all updates moving into the future are going to be developed for a global audience. Meaning entirely new areas, new characters. Everything. So while it was definitely shocking to see the MMO go down, and it is going to be a little disappointing knowing you’re going to need to start the game from scratch, this is going to be a substantial upgrade over the version we had up until this point and I’m going to be there playing it.
