So if you’re unaware of what Peria Chronicles actually is, it’s an unique, Anime MMORPG and is considered the next Mabinogi, with it’s social aspects, with a completely player driven economy, town creation, NPC and dungeon creation, action combat, a unique card system that allows you to tame monsters some what similar to Pokemon or Digimon, and like 20 other features. So if you haven’t gathered already it’s quite a hyped game unfortunately it’s been in creation for quite some time now, even going through different names but this year there was finally an update of information regarding Peria Chronicles, we got an actual trailer, and saw gameplay, some of the battle system. Because of this people started to believe that this MMORPG might finally get released, and then it was announced that it was going to be released this year..
then it went quite.
Now Nexon has released the the lineup for there Q3 of 2017, showing the MMORPGs on the way for Nexon games like LawBreakers, Need for Speed: Edge, Moonlight Blade,
TitanFall Online and MapleStory 2. Peria Chronicles not unfortunately missing from this list and there hasn’t been any word on Peria Chronicles for a little while now. Now this doesn’t guarantee that Peria Chronicles won’t be coming out this year, but it’s just unlikely. It should be noted that Nexon is focusing more on the mobile side of MMORPG, like most Asian companies because in Korea and China they are quickly becoming the most popular form of MMORPG, so it’s very likely that Peria Chronicles was pushed aside to make room for there many Mobile titles. But it’s just speculation.
Either way this is unfortunate news, as I and many others have been looking forward to it being released, but alas it seems like we’ll have to wait another year, or more. This is pretty much all I’ve got to say, I know it’s not good news but.. at least you know now.
