by WigglsbyGreetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings, my name is Wiggy, and today I’ll be talking about Blade and Soul. To be more specific, I’ll be talking about the new class on its way, yeah! The GUNNER, uh, I mean the Maestro.. although I feel like naming it Gunner
would have matched the class a bit better, but hey, maybe they were just trying to distance themselves from a certain MMORPG, that may or may not have tried to copy Blade and Soul.. that has a class called “Gunner”…. Nah!
Either way, yes, there’s a new class! And it is a gun toting badass, if the clips are anything to go by, and boy, are those clips good.. ulala! Anyway the class uses dual pistols, but those pistols also kinda function as a grapple. Now I don’t believe you can use the grapple to climb things, if you’re wondering, but from what
I’ve seen so far, it has a variety of uses, for instance you can use it to pull yourself out of an AoE, but you can also use it offensively, chaining it together with other skills. I mean you can even place down a return point, allowing you to grapple back
to the location you placed it originally, granted, you
still have to be near enough to grapple back, however I feel like it’ll probably add a new, interesting element to the PvP in Blade and Soul. Another thing to point out regarding the Maestro is that it seems to be a very mobile class, unlike Warlock for instance.
Most, if not all, of the attacks are usable on the move, which is pretty awesome. There’s nothing worse then being stuck in an AoE while casting a powerful skill. Except for I guess.. having high ping, having ping issues is probably a little bit worse.
Regarding what Race will have access to the Maestro is currently unknown. However the trailers have show both the Jin and Gon being gunners, whether or not that means it’s locked specifically to them remains to be seen however. We’ll no doubt learn more in the coming months.
The Maestro Class will be going live as of June 14th on the Korean servers, and is rumored to be coming to the west, not long after. Which could mean anywhere from months away to, years.. Fingers crossed it’s just months!
Before I end this video I would like to ask you guys, if, or when the Maestro comes out, will you make one? As I’ve seen quite a few people say that the Maestro class doesn’t really seem fit with Blade and Souls Martial arts-ish theme.
