So you’ve probably already heard about the fact that Bless Online’s NA/EU publisher, Aeria games, is no longer going to be bringing it to the.. well NA/EU! As I’ve already made a video regarding Bless Online’s cancellation to the west around a week ago.
However if you had no idea, and hadn’t heard anything regarding it at all, or generally don’t know what Bless Online is, allow me to quickly sum it up; feel free to skip this part if you already know. Bless Online is hyped, highly talked about MMORPG, with gorgeous
visuals and characters models, a huge open world to explore, with horrible optimization and what most people consider, terrible combat. Bless has had a lot of trouble with it not living up to the hype and due to this, the RU server shutdown,
and the KR server has an ever decreasing population.
Because of this information the original publisher (Aeria games) lost faith in Bless and
canceled there contract with Neowiz. Leaving Bless Online’s NA/EU release in MMO limbo. And that is pretty much all the information regarding bless up till now, so, consider yourself informed up till this point!
Back on the original subject, Neowiz, which is the Korean company behind creating Bless Online, have stated that whilst there MMORPG will no longer be connected to Ariea games, since they’ve broken there contract as I’ve stated, they fully intend on
publishing Bless Online to the western market themselves, as they’re fully aware just how many people there are waiting for its released. While this is all good and all, words are still just words, as Ariea games said the very same thing, that they’d publish
Bless Online to the west, revise the combat, etc. And look how that turned out!
Although, it is of course Aeria games, or Gamigo as they are officially called now. They’re not exactly known for.. anything positive. They’ve canceled tons of MMOs in the past, some MMOs that were still loved and being played, or they straight up make them P2W,
but then again MMORPGs, or MMOs in general becoming PW2 isn’t exactly exclusive to Ariea games.
If what Neowiz is saying is true, and they do, fully intend on bringing Bless Online to the West then this is fantastic news as will finally get the chance to play Bless Online, in complete English, with a possibly revised combat system. Without Aeria games to
screw it all up. I mean, I’m not saying Neowiz won’t necessarily screw up either, I’m just saying it’s much less likely when it’s not in Aeria games hands.
but I am still hopeful, as I genuinely enjoyed playing Bless Online and I’d love to see it finally making its way over, so all of you guys get a chance to experience it for yourselves!
I would like to ask you guys, are you happy that Ariea games will no longer be apart of Bless Online? Or would you prefer it if they were still publishing it instead of Neowiz? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
